Regular maintenance
Every 3-4 months, the superficial protection of wooden window sills wears off. It is therefore necessary to regularly maintain the surface. This is even much simpler than one might think. All you need is our in-house care set. Samuel explains in the video how to use it.

How do I attach the board to my windowsill?
Most people use mounting adhesive for this purpose. This is a solution to permanently install the windowsill. Some simply lay it on and secure it in other ways. In any case, you should leave a 1mm gap between the wall and the wooden board, as wood is a living material that works and can easily change shape depending on temperature and humidity.
Can I return wooden window sills?
Basically, yes. You can return the windowsills within the statutory withdrawal period. Unfortunately, cut-to-size windowsills can only be returned as a gesture of goodwill. This is always decided on a case-by-case basis.
Can I also use the windowsill outside?
Whether you install the wooden windowsill indoors or outdoors is entirely up to you. However, our windowsills are exclusively designed and coated for indoor use. We assume no liability for any outdoor use. A wooden windowsill indoors quickly deforms when weather conditions fluctuate, which is why we recommend wooden windowsills indoors only for indoor use.
