"We are a team that combines the desires of tomorrow with the creations of today. In doing so, we merge trends and longevity."

Samuel Stolz, Marketing

Quality is what counts.

The German quality standard must be maintained. That's the top priority. The selection of the right materials and the precise adherence to quality controls naturally help us with this. Many customers already have this quality promise in their homes: in the living room—in the hallway—in the bathroom—in the kitchen.

BestLoft®

About the Beginning

"I wanted to start something. Something big. With my own hands. And it should make people and me happy. But where do I start, or rather: What do I start with?

An acquaintance asked me back then if I could design a bar stool for him. So I took a board and rebar and got to work. It took a while, but after a while it was finished.

In response to my chair, the acquaintance told me: "You wouldn't believe how long I've been looking for such a massive and high-quality chair." These words were groundbreaking. And so I decided to make furniture from what I had and declare war on cheap mass production.

Today, BestLoft is not just a small workshop with a few boards and a welding machine. We manufacture wooden panels, coffee tables, shelves, and bar stools and tables for the entire European market. But not as mass-produced goods, but in the old way: high-quality and individual."

Values & Principles

Custom Solutions

We are not in the business of selling just any wooden panels or frames; rather, we want our customers to get exactly what they need.

Premium Quality

BestLoft stands for visible and tangible quality. With every handcrafted piece, where each step adds quality to the individual items, a new piece of artisanal masterpiece is produced.

Solid hardwood

Compared to other providers, we exclusively use solid real wood. In most cases, we use solid oak, but we can also use other types of wood upon request.

About our products

Our Wood Production

At BestLoft, quality begins not with the finished product, but with the raw material. For over 20 years, Mr. Stolz – founder and CEO – has personally overseen the purchase of oak. Because: Only those who know the origin can guarantee genuine quality. It's no coincidence that BestLoft is the number 1 in high-quality oak washbasin tops.

But before a plank becomes a piece of furniture, a process begins that requires a lot of patience, know-how, and genuine craftsmanship.

From Tree to Plank – with Time and Care

After cutting, our oak is first stored for 12 months so that it naturally adapts to the room climate. Only then does the technical drying begin, during which the wood is gently brought to an ideal residual moisture content for 70 days – this is essential for later dimensional stability and perfect gluing.

Sorting with a Trained Eye

Oak is a natural material with character – no two planks are alike. To meet high aesthetic and quality standards, each plank is sorted by hand by our three most experienced employees: according to knot content, color, and grain. This way, we can guarantee that every piece of wood tells its own, yet harmonious, story.

Production with Passion

Our workshop in Gummersbach is the heart of BestLoft. Here, a well-coordinated team of specialists, built up over a decade, works with great patience, dedication, and the clear aspiration: Only the best leaves our workshop. Each panel is unique and crafted with genuine passion. Once a week, the entire team exchanges ideas about new concepts, improvements, and processes – because true quality is created not only through craftsmanship but also through forward-thinking.

The Perfect Surface – Naturally Protected

To give our wooden panels not only beauty but also durability, we rely on a careful coating: two layers of Italian oil and then two layers of wax ensure a silky, resistant surface. We exclusively use environmentally friendly and health-safe products – for a good feeling with every touch.

Packaging with Responsibility

Quality craftsmanship deserves appreciative packaging. Therefore, every product is carefully inspected before shipping and, in accordance with the German Packaging Act and with the aim that every piece arrives safely and intact, it is packaged.
